Our Garden Prayer(inspired by John 17)
We lift up our eyes to heaven and say…..Father, magnify Your presence in and through us, so that we might glorify You.
You have shared Your power and authority through Christ in us, so that we might share in Your eternal life. And this is eternal life….to experience and know You….heart to heart….spirit to spirit.
O Father, although the world has not known You and has failed to recognize and acknowledge You, increase in us the desire to commune with You….continually, helping to keep our hearts open and yielded to Yours.
Express Your nature from our very being, so that others will know that it is You who sent us, and that it is Your presence they see and feel.
Help us, Lord, to allow Your forgiveness to flow into every area of our lives. that we might come to understand and experience more deeply the power of the Cross.
Inspire others through us…..comfort them, heal them, deliver them, forgive them, and love them as we yield to You.
May our very existence be Your message, Your heart, and Your love. And, may we be so filled and fulfilled in You, that others will desire to live as we live.
And finally, Lord, may our joy be complete, just knowing that Yours is fulfilled in them…..flooding their hearts with Your essence, and releasing through them Your Glory.
